We were not looking for another puppy but somehow once again fate seems to work its magic and we collected him at EDS to join our family.
Hunter is a feisty boy full of personality who is beautifully made and a lovely size. It was his movement that made us fall in love with him though and we couldn’t wait to get him in the ring, where he certainly is not disappointing!
He made his debut at SWKA in 2016 under breed specialist Irene Jennings and wowed us, showing like a pro with his tail wagging non stop to win MPD, PD, BPD and the RCC! We were over the moon! He then attended a few open shows winning BOB, BPIB and several Group ones and adult Group Placings and attained his Junior Warrant. He started 2017 well winning BPD & RBD at Boston and then his next Championship show Crufts winning BPIB, he then went on in 2017 to win another RCC at East of England under Raye Parry, RBIS at the Chinese Crested Dog Club Show, RBIS at the Chinese Crested Club of GB Show and RBIS at Scunthorpe CS show as well as a total of 12 class wins at champ shows. 2018 saw him selectively shown but he won BOS at Boston and then his first CC at Windsor under Andrew Stewart as well as BOB and then a group shortlist under Brian Rix so we are really over the moon. Hunter then started 2019 with RBD to his kennel mate at Boston and then won Limit at Crufts and since won his way out of he class in straight shows. He then took the RCC under Tom Mather at Three Counties and again at East of England under Breed Specialist Robert Dunlop – a win we will cherish forever. Then after a break he won the DCC & BOB at SKC under Stephen Bardwell, shortly followed by RCC at Richmond under Tony Allcock. For the icing on the cake, at Driffield he then took his crowning CC and BOB under Breed Specialist Elsie Moyes, another win we will cherish and quite simply amazing that he is our 3rd new champion of 2019. Hunter then came out at LKA and won the DCC and BOB under Tom Isherwood – an award we will cherish forever. Hunter will then make the odd appearance at the outside shows where the big rings can really allow him to show off his movement.
