We could not resist this lovely crazy boy who has the same sire as Kiddy and the same Dam as Monkey. He is such a character and has the same crazy temperament as his half brothers!
Joker went to two champ shows in 2015 was 2nd in MPD on both behind a multi ticket winning puppy so we are delighted with his placings. He has had great critiques and been called an “extremely promising baby” with “A very promising future ahead” despite having a bad case of puppy acne.
He started 2016 with a bang at Boston under Dawn Russell where he won Junior and then took BOB and BPIB from a very strong entry! Then at Manchester, he again won Junior and also took BPD under Martin Freeman and was third in his class at Crufts and then 2nd in his class at UK Toy. His highlight so far though came at WELKS where he won his first limit class at just 13 months of age and then went and took the Dog CC – huge thanks to Liz Stannard for thinking so highly of him! He won RBD at the Chinese Crested Dog Club Show under breed specialist Elsie Moyes and then RCC from his 2nd time in Limit under Jill Peak at 15 months of age. He then took another RCC at Bournemouth at 17 months of age and RBD at the Chinese Crested Club of GB show again under a breed specialist and has won 5/6 limit classes now and secured the last points for his Junior Warrant. At open shows he won 6 post graduate classes on the trot all as a puppy and picked up a BPIB and BOB along the way too and has had adult has several group placings. He started 2017 well winning BD again at Boston and getting placed in his class of 19 at Crufts and has since won his way out of limit and gained another RCC although shown very few times in 2017 due to moving over for his kennel mate Loki. 2018 saw Joker shine at his first General Championship show of the year, winning his 2nd CC and best of breed under replacement judge Ken Sinclair and then Group 4 under Mervyn Evans – to say we were delighted is an understatement! 2019 saw Joker benched again whilst we focussed on making up 3 of his kennel mates and we planned 2020 to be his year. That wasn’t to be so he had to wait until late 2021 to come back out, and he did with style winning the RCC at Richmond his second show back and then at his third show back being awarded his crowning CC and BIS under breed specialist Margaret Kempster! We really are thrilled to make this boy up as he really has always ended up on the bench unjustly with us always intending to give him the focus he deserved and never quite managing too, so it really is fabulous to finally do him justice!
Thank you again to Sylwia Florecka for a cracking little lad, we are going to have a lot of fun with him!
