This little man was an unexpected addition to the family! He was born a day after Otto and I kept looking at him every time I went to see Otto as he was such a lovely boy. Rufus has a fabulous personality and attitude and is the happiest boy I have ever known, so when Di Burree offered him to us I just could not resist. Rufus is from great lines and is nicely constructed, but as he has grown his personality is still the thing that shines out! He made his debut at The National in 2010 at just 6 months and a day and Qualified for Crufts in MPD, and then went on to win BPIB at Border Union and have many Champ show class wins that year. In 2011 he continued to win well and gained his Stud Book number at just 18 months of age by winning Limit at his first time in the class at SKC under John McManus and obtained a RCC at Bournemouth under Espen Engh. He missed gaining his JW by just 3 points as was not heavily shown in the first 6 months and is Crufts qualified for life and has won several BOBs and Group Placings at open show level. He was lightly shown in 2012 and continued to win well having a lot of fun along the way and had a break in 2013 whilst we concentrated on our youngsters. He was selectively campaigned in 2014 and won a third at Crufts and all bar one of the limit classes he was entered in. Having now won his way out of limit he will once again have to remain on the sidelines and be shown only when one of our others boys is not attending in Open, but in 2016 at the Chinese Crested Dog Club Championship show he made an appearance and won Open which we were delighted by. He has since turned 7 and is now being shown in veteran winning several Toy Veteran groups at open shows already and being 2nd in Veteran at Crufts 2017. We will continue to occasionally show him in veteran this year.

Once again I cannot thank Di enough for this super little boy and her friendship and support and we really look forward to continuing to show him and have so much fun in the ring with his boy!
